Track & Field is a SPRING sport which combines various athletic contests based on the skills of running, jumping, and throwing. Track and field tests athletes' speed, strength, endurance, and skill.
Athletic Eligibility
Participation is a privilege. Students are expected to act in a leadership role for members of the student body and always act in an exemplary manner that will be complimentary to the team, school and community. Athletes should consider academics as their first priority.
Registration
All athletes MUST be approved on FamilyID before attending their first practice. For approval, all athletes MUST have a current NCSD sports physical (valid for 24 months to the day), paid athletic fee (or approved waiver), and a completed, and approved, online registration on Family ID.
Practice Schedule
Practices are 4:15-5:30pm, Monday-Friday. AM practices are at Adrienne C. Nelson High School (ACNHS) Tuesday mornings starting at 7:30am (No practices Tuesday pm). Transportation to HVMS from ACNHS following morning practices will be provided by the school.
